Good Morning! Great news the snow and ice has thawed here at Portsmouth meaning the Story of the Mary Rose and the rest of Portsmouth Historic Dockyard will be opening to visitors today from 10am until 5pm.
Sunday 20th 10am: The Mary Rose Story and Portsmouth Historic Dockyard will be closed today (Sunday 20th) due to Ice and dangerous conditions for visitors on the paths and ships. Please check back for updates on Monday 21st before you travel.
October 11th 2012 marked a very special anniversary as it was exactly thirty years since the entire nation watched the Mary Rose break the surface of the Solent after 437 years on the seabed.
