Family and Adult Learning Events in Portsmouth

The Mary Rose Trust supports Portsmouth City Council’s Family and Adult Learning programme at events throughout the year. Other venues we have attended are: Southsea Castle, the Wesley Centre, Fratton and Saxon Shore School, Paulsgrove. We have also led sessions at every library in the City during school holidays this year.

 

Linda Buckland, Children’s Centre Manager said: ‘Having the Mary Rose team attend our activity days gives an added dimension to the day enabling us to bring this important piece of local history to life, introducing it to many families for the first time.’  e are obvious, others are very hard to guess! Sessions finish with the chance to dress in Tudor costume – great fun is had by all!
