Events & Front of House Staff Wanted for the Mary Rose Museum

Do you have excellent interpersonal skills? Would you love to welcome visitors and deliver events to the multi-award winning Mary Rose Museum? Are you keen to learn?
If so, you might be just the person we are looking for!
We are recruiting a number of new seasonal casual Events and Front of House team members to help us deliver consistently excellent customer service to all our visitors and guests.
No previous experience working within the museum/heritage sector is necessary, just excellent skills working within a fast paced and diverse environment. We need people to deliver an exceptional world class experience in a combination of the following:-
Welcome – in the visitor reception and the museum
Retail – in our busy museum shop
Galleries – interpretation and supervision of the gallery spaces
Events – delivering exceptional private and corporate parties and events
Education – supporting school groups in the museum and delivering workshops
We are currently offering casual contracts so there will be no guaranteed minimum number of hours and the number of available shifts will fluctuate over the season. These positions are excellent opportunities to gain experience and new skills whilst balancing other commitments. The majority of shifts will be made available during school holidays but also on the weekends or in the evenings throughout the year.
