The experts suggest that businesses and companies will ‘continue to look for experiences and adventures’ and ‘synergy between location and property’.


We may be a teeny bit biased but we think we have some pretty amazing synergy at the Mary Rose Museum – all down to our proximity to the world’s largest Tudor artefact and (biased again!) the world’s greatest ship and the treasures associated with her.


Seriously, however, we know how important it is that your meetings and conferences go smoothly – not just the basics; attractive spaces, comfortable places to sit, stand and present information, excellent food and intuitive hosts, but the atmosphere, too.


And the atmosphere at the Mary Rose Museum is like no other place we know. Following dramatic improvements to the Mary Rose’s visitor experience, allowing uninterrupted views of the ship from walkways, as well as from the end galleries, The Mary Rose Museum can now be hired for corporate events.


Book the Admiral’s Gallery, located at the heart of the building, to hold a seated event for 100 – with a little flexibility for extras – and gaze upon the museum’s finest exhibits as well as having access to the balcony, with views over Portsmouth Historic Dockyard’s most historic sights.


For smaller events we offer the chance to book The Wardroom for lunch or dinner for up to 18 guests, or to hold your meeting and conference in spectacular and inspiring style – The Wardroom’s windows look out over HMS Victory.


Guests using The Wardroom, which has its own LCD screen and charging points, can have access to the balcony as well as enjoying the tour of the Mary Rose Museum that comes as standard with bookings for this space and The Admiral’s Gallery.

As an exercise in stimulating the mind and the imagination we think it can’t be bettered. And if you’re looking for a meeting experience in the Portsmouth and south Hampshire area which doesn’t rely on tedious team-building exercises and zip-wire horrors, we think we may be perfect!
