Wish You Were Here – Henry Duck on Tour!

The Rubber Duck has undergone a bit of a revolution in the last decade or so. Once shunned as being a bit tacky, that tackiness has been embraced, and thanks to companies like Yarto there are now hundreds of designer ducks, based on everything from the Union flag to Big Ben!

We naturally wanted in on this, and introduced our Henry VIII duck, followed by the Anne Boleyn duck the year after, and they proved hugely popular all over the world! But they’ve not just been shipped around the globe – they’ve also been going on holiday!

Our first travelling duck went, perhaps not surprisingly, with a member of our staff; namely, me, on my honeymoon! Luckily, my wife was amused enough to let me photograph our duck in various places around Venice, including on a gondola!

Since then, we’ve had our Henry Ducks appear all over the place, from the Canary Islands to the Isle of Wight.  Recently, we’ve even had them trekking through the Far East, taking in Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand.

We’ve posted many of the ones we’ve been sent to our Facebook page, you should be able to see them below!

Anne Boleyn has yet to get in on the action, but we expect a few honeymoon pictures of them too!

Tag your photos #HenryDuck when you post them to Twitter, Facebook or Instagram, and we’ll retweet/repost them so everybody can see what you and his Majesty got up to on holiday!
