The Mary Rose Museum, Portsmouth
Monday 1 June 2015 10:30-15:00
A brilliant opportunity to learn together
Option 1: Under 11s – Just how bad was life on a Tudor warship? Discover life for officers and men through a mix of artefact handling and dressing up. Find out how healthy (or not!) they were on board.
Option 2: 11-16 year olds – What sank the Mary Rose? Investigate historical sources about the sinking of the Mary Rose and test the overloading theory using our models in the laboratory.
Options 1 & 2 include a self-guided visit to the Mary Rose Museum.
For this event, both adults and children can access the special rate of £10 per head (inc. VAT). All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. One adult may accompany up to 3 children. Children under 3 free.
