Shovel

The ovens in the galley were fuelled with wood. Hundreds of logs were found in the ship near the galley. We also found a shovel for getting the ashes out of the ovens and a wooden box for carrying them away in. The small cooking pot had three legs so it could be heated by standing it in the glowing embers of the fire. Cooking Pot (put your cursor on the pot to see the picture of the ashbox)
