You saw a picture of gunshields a couple of pages ago.

They were a strange weapon, a wooden shield with a gun fixed in the middle.

The picture shows how they would have looked from the user's side.

You put your left arm through the brown leather straps and looked through the grill at the top. The blue handle was used to open and close the grill.

The back of the gun is the green and yellow device in the middle. You could only fire a single shot before having to reload.
