Reamer A
wire rod called a reamer was used to clean out the touch hole at the
back of the gun and make a hole in the powder cartridge. |
Powder horn top A little bit of gunpowder was put in the touch hole using a powder horn. Because horn didn't survive very well on the Mary Rose, we only have the bronze top of it.
