Mary Rose Museum wins RBS Management Team of the Year

The Mary Rose Museum has received THE HAMPSHIRE BUSINESS AWARD for RBS MANAGEMENT TEAM OF THE YEAR.

The best of the county’s companies were in the spotlight as the winners of the Hampshire Business Awards were announced at a ceremony on Tuesday, September 30th

 

Winners in five categories were revealed at an exclusive awards dinner in the grand surroundings of Winchester Guildhall. The awards were hosted by BBC journalist Justin Webb and supported by the CBI.

 

The RBS Management Team of the Year award went to Portsmouth’s Mary Rose Trust and was accepted by Charles Barker on behalf of the Mary Rose Trust.

 

Presenting the award, RBS Regional Director Dan Salanson said: “The management team have a clear vision to make the Mary Rose an international exhibition, overcoming the not insignificant hurdle of finding £35m of funding for this really ambitious project. The sheer scale of the achievement and its successful outcome are testament to the skills and leadership of the Mary Rose management team.”
