A sailor has had his leg crushed by a loose cannon, we have to cut it off to save his life. The first thing to do is get him drunk to help dull the pain. When we operate you will hold a sponge soaked in drugs over his face to knock him out. |
We'll tie cords around his leg to help stop the bleeding and then I'll saw his leg off quickly. You'll have to hold his leg still, I don't want it flopping around when I'm trying to cut it off! Watch out for your fingers, you'll be sorry if they get in the way of the saw....
