The guns of the Mary Rose are ready to fire deadly stone and iron shot at an enemy ship.

The Mary Rose carried two sorts of big guns.

The first were guns made of bronze, weighing up to two and a half tons.

These were loaded with powder and shot from the front, and are called muzzle-loaders.
