JEWELLERY BOX (outside curve of fan 24cm, height of box 6.5cm)

This beautiful, rich burgundy leather fan-shaped jewellery box is inspired by the detail on the central boss from a Mary Rose gun shield. Stylistically similar to decoration appearing on a suit of armour in The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, known as Genouilhac Armour, it is possible that this was made for Henry VIII by Italian masters. The box is lined in black velvet and has a removable inner tray with a ring divider. Each box comes with an information card. £32.00

This stylish leather book cover, featuring the same design as the cufflink box, comes in a choice of address or notebook. It can be refillable as it is a standard A5 size.
