Exclusive Mary Rose collectables - A First Class offer!

To celebrate The Mary Rose 500th Anniversary, we have joined forces with leading philatelic specialists Buckingham Covers to produce a striking and highly collectable limited edition stamp sheet.

The A4 sized sheets were printed for Buckingham Covers by Royal Mail and feature a dramatic image of the pride of Henry VIII’s fleet plus 10 genuine Royal Mail Stamps.  Each White Ensign stamp has an accompanying label featuring The Mary Rose.

These rare sheets are sold as presentation packs and come in a plastic pocket with accompanying information card.  The card gives background information on the Mary Rose and is your guarantee that the sheets have been genuinely produced by Royal Mail.  Only 1509 sheets will be in existence world-wide.

In addition to the stamp sheet, there is also a choice of two superb Mary Rose covers (collectable envelopes). 

The First Day Cover features the miniature sheet of stamps from the House of Tudor set issued by Royal Mail on 21st April 2009 and is postmarked in Portsmouth on the day of issue (the “First Day”).

The second is a stunning Commemorative Coin Cover, featuring a classic image of the Mary Rose plus one of our very own Mary Rose Medals.  The cover features new and vintage Henry VIII stamps, a stamp and label from the Mary Rose sheet and it will be postmarked in Portsmouth on the 21st April.
