Wedding Venue Hire in Portsmouth, Hampshire
The Mary Rose Museum provides a truly unique wedding venue for your special day. Surrounded by the many treasures recovered along with Henry VIII’s magnificent flagship, you and your guests can enjoy the enthralling world of the Mary Rose.
The Mary Rose was the pride of Henry VIII’s fleet when she was launched from Portsmouth in 1511. She sank just off the coast some 34 years later while battling the French. The world had to wait 437 years to see her again. Many watched as this Tudor ship was raised from the Solent in 1982, and now, after many years of hard work, she is situation just metres from where she was built, in Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
The Mary Rose Museum is much more than you expect. Allow history to create the setting for your own treasured memories. We offer a piece of England’s maritime history so come and write your own chapter and celebrate your new beginning at The Mary Rose Museum.
