Become a Buggy Driver for the Mary Rose
Would you enjoy doing something different?
Do you like meeting new people?
Would you like to become part of a friendly and dedicated team of award winning volunteers?
If so then this role could be for you!
We are currently recruiting a number of new Volunteer Buggy Drivers to assist those with mobility needs by driving between the entrance of the Historic Dockyard and the Mary Rose. As a member of our team, full training will be provided.
One of our regular drivers had the following to say about driving the buggy: –
‘I had recently retired and was looking for an interest to fill my time. I volunteer for the Mary Rose Museum as a buggy driver two days a week days. It has given me the opportunity to meet visitors from all over the World and all walks of life. I love to chat to them and listen to their enthusiasm regarding their Mary Rose experience.’
If you are over the age of 21, hold a full, clean driving licence, interested in volunteering at the Mary Rose and available from 09:45am-17:30 for at least one day each week, we would love to hear from you. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information
