We are looking for a Volunteer Co-ordinator to join our team here at the multi award winning Mary Rose Museum, Portsmouth.
This new role has been created to develop and coordinate volunteering across the Mary Rose. We currently have over 110 volunteers who play a vital role both in the museum and across the Mary Rose Trust.
As someone experienced in working with people from across the community, you will be able to use and develop these skills drive recruitment of volunteers, development and retention of committed volunteers across the organisation and coordinating and administration of this vital part of our work. This role will also lead the Mary Rose’s Outreach Programme, recruiting, training and administering bookings for dedicated Volunteer Group.
You will have excellent inter-personal skills, working closely with stakeholders across the Trust, Dockyard and regional networks to develop our volunteer functions and also work on our volunteer strategy for the future.
