This Sunday, there are ten chances to win tickets to New Scientist Live at the Excel Centre, London, courtesy of the Mary Rose!
As well as getting to meet the Mary Rose Conservation Team, you’ll also have the chance to visit hundreds of stands covering all aspects of science and technology, so if you’re Bonkers for Biology, or Phreaky about Physics, you can’t miss this chance!
Every two hours, between 10am and 6pm, we’ll be posting an artefact, and we want you to tell us where on the Mary Rose it was found. We’ll also post a map of the ship (see left), so you can tell us which sector it was found in.
After 90 minutes (and maybe a helpful hint…) we’ll start sorting through the answers, and announce the correct one before we unveil the next artefact.
Two winners per artefact will be selected, and contacted via DM. Tickets will be sent out on Monday by First Class delivery, so should get with you in plenty of time.
The answers should be easily found by searching this website, although having visited the Mary Rose Museum will also make it easier!
This competition is not available to members of the Mary Rose Trust. The tickets entitle you and a friend to one day entry at New Scientist Live. The prize only covers entry to the event, you will have to make your own way to the venue. No cash alternative will be given.
