Tickets

As an independent, locally run registered charity responsible for our own fundraising, sponsorship and management, we rely on your ticket fee to help us maintain our unique collection for future generations.

Tickets for the Mary Rose Museum are sold through Portsmouth Historic Dockyard – please visit our tickets page to book your tickets in advance.

Your safety

For your security and safety, we are required to conduct 100% bag searches upon entry to the Dockyard. We are unable to store any large items of luggage on site, and please don’t leave your bags unattended at any point during your visit.

Our staff and volunteers

If you have any issues during your visit to the Museum, or just want further information about anything, please speak to a member of our knowledgeable team of staff and volunteers. They can be found throughout the Museum, ready to answer any questions you may have.

Photography in the Museum

We encourage our visitors to take photos and share them via social media.

However, flash photography is not permitted, as this can be harmful to the objects on display, as well as disturbing other visitors. Most modern cameras have a low light setting, so you won’t need to use flash.
